Our story

Built by people who've seen the chargeback problem firsthand

lakefrontai started from a simple frustration: AI agents were making financial decisions with no paper trail. When disputes came, there was nothing to show.

Our mission

“Make every AI agent action provably authorized — so the humans and institutions that depend on them can trust what they do.”

The problem we kept hitting

AI agents are increasingly handling payments, authorizations, and financial decisions at scale. But when a chargeback lands, or an auditor asks for evidence, there's nothing structured to show. Logs are scattered. Decisions are invisible. The burden of proof falls on the human — who wasn't even in the room.

Why existing tools fell short

Generic logging tools weren't built for financial evidence. They don't understand Visa CE 3.0, NIST AI RMF, or behavioral continuity. We needed something purpose-built: tamper-evident, compliance-native, and invisible to the agent at instrumentation time.

What we built

A drop-in SDK that captures every AI agent action as a cryptographically chained evidence event. A dashboard that turns raw events into dispute packets, compliance reports, and behavioral fingerprints. An attestation layer that proves the agent running today is the same one that was authorized yesterday.

Where we're going

AI agents will touch every financial workflow within a decade. We're building the trust infrastructure that makes that safe — starting with payments, expanding to healthcare, legal, and government. If an AI agent took an action, lakefrontai makes it provable.

What we stand for

🔒

Evidence-first

Every design decision starts with: what would hold up in a Visa dispute or a regulatory audit? We build for the hard cases, not the easy ones.

Invisible by default

Instrumentation should add zero friction for the engineers and agents it wraps. If integration takes more than 10 minutes, we failed.

🧱

Trust, not theatre

Compliance dashboards that look good but don't hold up to scrutiny are worse than nothing. We build real trust infrastructure, not checkbox tools.
